March 17th, it was St Patrick’s Day.

In Ireland, it’s a national day.

Ireland isn’t a member of the United Kingdom.

The members of the United Kingdom are : England,Wales,Scotland,Norhern Ireland.

Ireland is an independent republic.

Ireland is called « Emerald Green » because it’s so green !

The symbol of Ireland is the shamrock

It symbolizes good luck.

In Ireland, if you don’t wear green at school,you get pinched.

St Patrick was probably born in Nothern Ireland or Wales. He was born around 385 A.D.

St Patrick drove snakes out of Ireland.

Leprechauns are a legend.

They are little men dressed in green.

They hide a pot of gold under the rainbow.
